There is a very popular street market (‘el barratillo’) every Wednesday and Saturday from around 09:00 – 14:30. The market stalls offer everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to local crafts, clothes, ceramics and pottery, flowers and plants, and lots more.

Pepole arrive from the cities of Marbella and Fuengirola to visit the Market for its good prices and local products.

In Mijahouse the pottery from the local market gives an authentic and local touch to the place. Most places you can pay with card, but some places only take cash. The Market is a 10 min walk from Mijahouse.

There are some different products on Wednesday and Saturdays, but mostly the same kind of products for sale.
